‘Noah’s Ark’ – Lajatico

A timeless symbol that captures the imagination: “Noah’s Ark”, an artistic project conceived by Naturaliter, was presented at the Teatro Comunale in Lajatico as an exhibition open to all. Inspired by the epic biblical story of the Flood, the work becomes a powerful metaphor for journey, salvation and coexistence among all forms of life.

The project
At the Municipal Theatre in Lajatico, Naturaliter has set up an exhibition entitled ‘Noah’s Ark’, which is open to the entire community. The initiative sought to evoke the story of Noah and his lifesaving boat, translating it into contemporary language through sculptures, sets, reproductions and art installations. The exhibition focused on inclusivity, inviting adults and children to reflect on the importance of care, diversity and unity.

The meaning
The Ark is not just a biblical narrative: it is a symbol of rebirth, collective responsibility and protection of life in all its forms. Naturaliter interprets it as a bridge between past and present, between man, nature and creatures, reminding us of the value of cohabitation and environmental protection.

Location
The exhibition took place in the heart of Lajatico, in a public theatre that serves as a place for meeting, culture and sharing. L’allestimento ha trasformato lo spazio comunitario in ambiente narrativo, attraendo realtà locali (famiglie, scuole, visitatori esterni) e valorizzando l’arte come strumento di educazione e coesione.
