The project

“Icarus” was conceived as a private installation, intended for the dining room of a house. A sculpture that occupies the entire wall, delicately resting (despite its size) on a masonry shelf.

The meaning

An imposing sculpture that acts as the guardian of the house. An attentive observer that seems ready to fly at any moment. Icarus silently welcomes those who enter the room and invites them to admire in awe the grandeur of its wings, the details of its body, and its magnetic gaze.

Location

“Icarus” is a commissioned work to be installed in a private residence.
